Welcome!
Massimo Cipriani and Hans van Dorst look forward to welcome you at their agriturismo (country farm and B&B) Valdifiori.
Massimo and Hans are enthusiastic that they started a new chapter in their lives in 2015, to pursue what they do best and enjoy the most.
A warm welcome awaits you at the small farmhouse, located in the Marche region at 620 metres (2,034 ft). The farm overlooks the valley and, farther in the distance, the Apennines (with peaks of up to 1,700 m; 5,578 ft), which form the border with Umbria. This is a quiet rural area where you can enjoy the lifestyle of the Italian countryside.
With his 30 years of experience as a chef, Massimo runs the restaurant, sourcing products from the farm itself or founded locally whenever possible. Hans, who has been a veterinarian for more then 25 years in the Netherlands, runs the farm and tends the animals. The farmhouse is set in 26 acres of woods and fields where animals graze. There also is a young olive grove and fruit orchard.
The farmhouse is conveniently located for easy road access to beautiful medieval towns, ancient monasteries and castles, national parks, beaches and the renowned Frasassi Caves nearby.
There are also plenty of opportunities to be active in nature: hiking, cycling, mountain biking, off-road driving, trekking, hang gliding and sunbathing.
